(the Rules)
1. ELIGIBILITY: To enter and be eligible to win, a person must be age 13 years or older at time of entering and receiving a prize, a resident of Canada who is not an employee of the Sponsors, their respective affiliated companies or agents, advertising or promotional agencies, companies providing prizes for this contest, or the independent contest organization or a member of any such employee's immediate family (regardless of where they live) or with persons whom they are domiciled (whether related to the employee or not). In these Official Rules, "immediate family" includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partner or spouse. If an entrant is under the age of majority, and is the Grand Prize selected entrant, he/she will require his/her parent or legal guardian to act on his/her behalf in regards to completing the Declaration and Release Form and accepting of the Grand Prize.
2.TO ENTER: During the Contest Period, visit www.lasenzagirl.com, select the Contest icon and click Enter to complete the online entry form with full name, complete mailing address (including postal code), daytime telephone number (including area code), date of birth and email address (if applicable). Answer without assistance of any kind, mechanical or otherwise, the mathematical skill-testing question and confirm compliance with the Official Rules, acceptance of a Prize as awarded (if you are selected and subsequently confirmed as a winner), without substitution, and releasing the Sponsors, their affiliated and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, the independent contest organization and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with a Prize or this Contest. Upon doing so, click the "submit" icon and you will be entered automatically once into the Contest . All entries must be received on or before 11:59:59 PM (ET) on January 31, 2009 (the "Contest Closing Date"). Limit of one (1) entry per person or household address will be accepted during the Sweepstakes Period. Limit of one (1) prize per person.
3.PRIZES: There will be six (6) Prizes available to be won. i. Grand Prize: There will be one (1) Grand Prize available to be won consisting of a Disney Vacation for up to four (4) people (which must include one (1) adult) to a US Disney Resort as selected by the Sponsors up to a maximum of $5,000.00 (CDN), including return economy airfare for up to four (4) people by Westjet Vacations from the international airport nearest the winner's residence that Westjet Vacations serves, up to a maximum of five (5) nights hotel accommodation in a standard room based on quadruple occupancy at a moderate hotel selected by the Sponsors; ground transportation from the destination airport to and from the selected hotel and one (1) $250.00 (CDN) La Senza Girl Gift Card. Approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $5,250.00 (CDN) based on a Toronto departure to Disneyworld, Orlando, Florida. Actual retail value may vary depending on the city of departure and US Disney resort selected by the Sponsors. If the trip is over the maximum $5,000.00 (CDN) value, the winner is responsible for paying the difference. Winner is not entitled to monetary difference between actual prize value and stated approximate prize value, if any. WestJet Vacations must be booked at least thirty (30) days in advance of travel, are based on availability and subject to blackout dates (including Canadian Statutory Holiday Weekends, Christmas, Easter, Spring Break) and additional restrictions, at WestJet's discretion. Once made, travel arrangements are final and cannot be changed. This prize is not valid for redemption on any other WestJet Vacations' packages, or WestJet's charter partners. Additional WestJet terms and conditions may apply. Flights are non-transferable and have no cash value. New bookings only. Travel must be completed by June 30th, 2009. The winner and his/her travel guests must each have valid travel documents, including a valid passport, prior to ticketing and be legally able to travel to the United States. The winner and his/her travel guests must be Canadian residents to qualify for the prize. The winner and his/her travel guests must travel on the same itinerary and are responsible for ground transfers to and from the winner's and/or traveling guest's residences and designated airport. All departure taxes (at the time of booking), transfers, meals, insurance, items of personal nature and all other costs and expenses not specifically stated as included herein are the sole responsibility of the winner and his/her travel guests. No frequent flyer miles will be available for this trip. In the event that the winner does not use any portion of the Grand Prize, there will be no extension, transfer, substitution or any kind of compensation provided. ii. Secondary Prizes: There will be five (5) Secondary Prizes available to be won each consisting of a one (1) $25.00 (CDN) La Senza Girl Gift Card.
Prizes must be accepted as awarded without substitution and are not transferable, not for resale and have no cash surrender value. Each La Senza Girl Gift Card (a "Gift Card") has no cash surrender value and no expiry date. Any unused portion of a Gift Card will remain on the Gift Card until the total value of the Gift Card is used (for example: if a Gift Card is for $25.00 (CDN) and $20.00 (CDN) is used for the first purchase, $5.00 (CDN) will remain on the Gift Card and so forth until the total value of the Gift Card is used). The Sponsors reserves the right, in the event that a prize or any component of a prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute another prize or component of a prize of equal or greater value, without liability.
4.DRAWING: A random draw will be held on February 12, 2009 at 10:00 am (ET) in Mississauga, ON from among all eligible entries received by the Contest Closing Date. Odds of being selected depend on the total number of eligible entries received by the Contest Closing Date. The selected entrants will be contacted by mail or telephone within ten (10) business days of the draw date. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted by mail or telephone within ten (10) business days of the Draw date or if a package sent via mail is returned as undeliverable, the selected entrant will be disqualified and another entrant will be randomly selected until such time as contact is made by mail or telephone with a selected entrant, as described above, or there are no more eligible entries, whichever comes first. The Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact a selected entrant.
5.GENERAL: By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by the Official Rules and the decisions of the independent contest organization with respect to all aspects of the contest, which are final.
6.To be declared the Grand Prize winner, the selected entrant's answer to the mathematical skill-testing question must be verified and deemed correct. Upon verification, the selected entrant and his/her travel guests will be required to sign a Declaration and Release Form (or, if the selected entrant and/or travel guests are under the age of majority in his/her province of residence, have his/her parent or legal guardian sign) confirming compliance with the Official Rules, acceptance of the Prize as awarded, without substitution, and releasing the Sponsor, its affiliated and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, the independent contest organization and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any liability in connection with the prize or this Contest. The Declaration and Release Forms must be returned within the time period specified on the Declaration and Release Forms or the prize will be forfeited. Upon receipt, the Grand Prize will be coordinated with the winner by the Sponsor within thirty (30) days of being declared the winner.
7.To be declared a Secondary Prize winner, a selected entrant's answer to the mathematical skill-testing question must be verified and deemed correct. Upon verification, the Secondary Prize will be delivered to the winner by the Sponsors within thirty (30) days of being declared a winner.
8.The Sponsors accept no responsibility for loss, damage or claims caused by or resulting from the Contest or any prize associated with this Contest . By entering and accepting a prize, each winner consents to the use of his/her name, address (city and province) and/or photograph without further remuneration, in connection with any publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsors with respect to this Contest.
9.The Sponsors and the independent contest organization will not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete or destroyed entries and all such entries are void. The Sponsors and the independent contest organization do not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer lines or networks, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry material/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. In the event it is determined that an entrant has entered in a fashion not sanctioned by these rules and/or has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these rules, the entrant will be disqualified and all of the entries submitted by the entrant will be disqualified.
10.The Sponsors reserve the right, with the consent of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (the "Régie") in the Province of Québec, to terminate or amend this Contest at any time and in any way, without prior notice. Without limiting the foregoing, if, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, such as tampering or infection by computer virus, the Sponsors reserve the right to cancel the Contest and conduct the draw from all previously received eligible entries received by the Contest Closing Date. The Sponsors and the independent contest organization shall not be held responsible for any problems, errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest including but not limited, to any damage to an entrant's computer equipment, system, software or any combination thereof, as a result of the entrant's participation in this Contest.
11.All entries become the permanent property of the Sponsors and none will be returned. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
12.For Quebec residents only: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
13.The Sponsors respect your right to privacy. Personal information collected from entrants will only be used by the Sponsors to administer the Contest and, only if consent is given at the time of entry, to provide the entrants with information regarding upcoming promotions and/or events from the Sponsors. If entrants provide consent when entering the Contest, entrants consent to the manner of collection, use and disclosure of personal information as set out in the Sponsors' privacy policy, which are available at www.alliancefilms.com, www.lasenzagirl.com and www.westjet.com. to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
