Ed Harris, Viggo Mortensen and Renee Zellwegger star in the picturesque western Appaloosa, adapted from the Robert B. Parker novel. Set in a small town in the old west territory of New Mexico, Appaloosa revolves around a pair of hired guns (Harris and Mortensen) who come to clean up the dangerous town, but quickly find themselves caught up in an equally dangerous love triangle with another beautiful and provocative newcomer to town (Zellwegger). Appaloosa is co-written and directed by Harris.
