Rent-A-Goalie revolves around the exploits of Cake (Christopher Bolton), a hockey-mad, recovered-from-everything go-to guy, who runs a rag-tag hockey goalie rental service out of Cafe Primo, a family-owned coffee shop in Toronto's Little Italy.   Cake is now living by "The Code" – an ever evolving set of personal ethics, maxims and credos that keep him on the straight and narrow.   As strange characters from Cake's past descend on Cafe Primo, " The Code" is continually challenged, stretched  and put to the test.  But Cake and his new found crew have formed a family that takes on all comers!  In the end, it all comes down to protecting your home and family.
